DCM Automatic Turn Signal Controller
Produced exclusively by DC Motive, these are our v5 Automatic Turn Signal Controllers.
These are specifically made to use with momentary switches that can be added to your motorcycle for a more custom appearance.
The controller senses your vehicle orientation, lean angle, acceleration in gforce, and the engine vibration to identify if you are waiting to turn, currently turning, or have completed a turn. Once it senses you have completed the turn it automatically switches the turn indicators off. The controller looks at two inputs (left and right buttons) and switches two outputs (left and right indicators).
These can be made to work with any motorcycle, but we are not supporting the vast amount of stock hand controls out there. If you choose to use your stock hand controls, you will need to find out how to convert the latching switch into a temporary push button. There are many methods out there if you search for it, but it's often as simple as inserting a small piece of foam rubber into the switch.
Although these are about the same size as the stock flasher relay, they are not a plug and play replacement. Some wire re-routing will be necessary. A simplified universal schematic is included with the controller to help you on your way. You can download the manual below for detailed instructions.
The price is for 1 controller unit. Only 1 is needed.
